Rain, Rays, and fish mutations

Rain can be the Hujan indicator. The official text says rain can mutate a fish and make it faster. The fully recorded strike instead labeled a carried Coral Egg as Rays.

Rain is a named weather state

The recorded weather indicator shows Hujan (rain) beside a rain or lightning icon and its own countdown. Players run into heavy rain and keep diving. One callout describes a rain bomb while hauling an egg. A lightning flash by itself proves nothing. Read the indicator, then read the notification, because the notification names the object that was hit.

Other client languages for that label were not captured. Trust the icon and the countdown if the word differs.

Official fish claim versus the recorded egg hit

The Roblox description says the rain can strike your fish, causing them to mutate and become faster. That sentence gives no odds, multiplier, duration, or eligible fish. No reviewed clip shows a fish label before and after a strike with a measured speed change.

Player narration adds names: Bubble, Thunder, and Bolt, with Bolt claimed to raise money and speed the most, plus a separate Thunder callout. A companion line tells players to chase Gold, Diamond, and Rainbow. Another egg-stage narration says "ray api" and "Xstar," with Xstar claimed to be worth five times. None of those names was captured as a readable before-and-after card, and they do not match the Rays label below. One lightning strike produced no visible speed benefit. Treat the names as unverified reports.

The strike that is documented from start to finish hit a carried egg:

  1. The basket held a Coral Egg with no mutation label.
  2. During Hujan, lightning hit and the notice named the Coral Egg and RAYS. One wording is "Your Coral Egg was mutated: RAYS!"
  3. The basket then showed Rays, and Mut[RAYS] x1.5 appeared. The footage never says what x1.5 multiplies.
  4. The egg's carry countdown kept falling. The weather countdown is a separate clock.
  5. Time ran out, the egg returned to its spot, and the basket emptied. It was not placed or hatched.

The strike did not destroy the egg. The delivery deadline did. A transcript that a carried egg broke after a hit does not show that rain caused the break. A separate listing says that during rare weather, eggs can mutate and mutant fish can appear from them. That hatch was not observed in this event.

What to do when it rains

If you are carrying an egg, keep going home. Note the basket label before and after any notice. If the notice names the egg, you have an egg mutation, not a faster fish. If it names your fish, write down the fish, the mutation name, and its speed, then ride the same route you timed before the storm. Do not feed between those two readings, because feeding is separately associated with speed readouts.

There is no known way to summon rain, force a strike, or keep a mutation after you rejoin. Stacking, inheritance, and replacement rules are not shown.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Which fish is the fastest?

No tested species ranking exists. The official description says rarer fish are faster and that rain can mutate a fish to become faster. On-screen speed numbers describe one fish and do not use one shared scale across sessions.

Does a dark Index card mean that fish is unavailable?

No. A silhouette means that account had not revealed the card. The fish tab scrolls, so the twelve named fish are a visible subset, not a complete roster.

How do you swim in Ride A Fish?

Equip a fish and take it into the sea. Recorded play shows no separate Ride button. You are mounted when your avatar sits on the fish and the red Dismount control is visible. One first session only stopped drowning after mounting.

Where do I put an egg?

Carry it to your own aquarium near the SafeZone and use Place Egg at your Egg Box. Another player's aquarium rejects placement. DROP EGG is a different control and does not start the hatch.

Are there working Ride A Fish codes?

No working code is listed, and no expired code is listed either. Reviewed play has not shown a redemption screen, so there is no confirmed button path yet.
